I highly recommend him to everyone.
I started working out with Peter after completing breast cancer treatment. I have been strong and healthy my entire life, but when I took on caring for my aging parents, I stopped finding time to work out. Peter has helped me feel physical, mentally, and emotionally strong again. I now have the strength, balance and flexibility that I really didn’t think I could regain. Knowing that a young professional believes that you can progress, combined with the depth of knowledge, education and training that Peter possesses built success for me. Peter takes you from wherever you are, listens to your goals and builds a plan for you while making whatever adjustments are needed along the way. I have watched him teach people of all ages, life experiences and needs in the five years I have been in his classes. I highly recommend him to everyone.
I’m in the best shape of my life
Peter is exceptionally knowledgeable and talented. I was fearful of what to expect when I first walked into Peter’s kettlebell class. I quickly found I was in the capable hands of an extremely perceptive, knowledgeable, and experienced instructor. He has taught me the importance of being flexible and being strong, and he has challenged me in ways I never expected. Because of his guidance I’ve been able to accomplish strength and fitness goals I never thought I could achieve. I’m in the best shape of my life and I am reaping the rewards every day. None of this would’ve been possible without Peter.
Peter is truly knowledgeable and very enthusiastic
As we grow older, staying fit becomes no longer a hobby, but a matter of health. Fitness helps keep cholesterol in check, diabetes, high blood sugar; generally improves our hormones levels, our immune, our longevity and our ability to adapt to the negative effects of stress. However, staying fit is not so easy. It is hard to stay on track and consistent. Tedious repetitious weightlifting reps and dull fitness classes don’t help matters, but make staying in shape often times a chore.
Peter Wolf is truly knowledgeable and very enthusiastic, and creative in his approach to helping you get fit. His classes are entertaining, effective and varied and before you know it they are over and you’ve gotten an enjoyable workout. I find myself looking forward to his classes and always feeling more flowy, strong, and happy afterwards.
Not only did I lose all the weight, I also gained so much more.
I met Peter in 2011, when I was frustrated with my fitness and health. I had been going to the gym for 6 years, spending an hour there 3-5 times a week, because I thought that was the magic number. Then I joined Peter’s class that incorporated kettlebells, TRX training, yoga, and more. I was a year away from my wedding and 30 pounds overweight! Not only did I lose all the weight, I also gained so much more.
Peter helped me love my new health and fitness journey, and I realized that it wasn’t about how much exercise I crammed into an hour at the big box gym. It was about setting small realistic goals and crushing them, and getting really good at certain exercises over time. After I got my kettlebell swing down, I just kept looking for the next goal to tackle. Being healthy and strong is a lifestyle for me now, not a morning chore to do before work.
My strength and fitness level is the best it has ever been. And I feel the best I have ever felt! I couldn’t be happier to have met Peter and to have him as my coach. He is truly amazing- his knowledge and understanding of fitness is next level.
I am now a level one certified StrongFirst kettle bell instructor! Crazy! How does one thank someone for such a gift….. keep swinging…because the swing is the thing! Thank you Peter, I appreciate you more than you know!
A True Artist
I feel very lucky to have the chance to work with Peter, and walk away from every session feeling not only physically more congruent and well, but my spirits are lifted and my brain tickled.
Peter’s ability to teach in the physical and mental realms simultaneously are in my experience rare, and I see him as a true artist/poet in how he demonstrates, improvises and riffs as he teaches.
I appreciate having found Peter and his service in Tai Chi.
He read what was going on
As someone who has been moving most of my young adult, and adult life, I knew when things started not feeling right in my body, and some chronic pain, I needed some help. I had taken a couple of kettle bell swing classes from Peter, and had really enjoyed how accessible the knowledge being shared was, so I figured I would ask him more pointed questions about my own personal exercise practice.
I am so glad that I did. It was so easy going working with Peter right from the start. He read what was going on in my body by watching me do a few exercises and almost instantly had me heading in new directions, myofascial release on the foam roller, that not only were making me stronger, but also helping me to correct some long term usage aches and pains.
I find Peter extremely knowledgeable, personable, and receptive to all kinds of body types. I have and will continue to recommend folks to Peter, he helped me see that I wasn’t finished moving, and moving well, through my life. Grateful to have met him.
